Lecture: Tales from the Adirondack Attic
This presentation relies heavily on stories from the Adirondack Attic book series. Andy Flynn will use a slide show to bring the Adirondack Museum’s artifacts to life during this program. Stories are tailored to the region where the lecture will be given (i.e. Warren County stories at a lecture in Bolton Landing).

Lecture: Turning Points in Adirondack History
See how historical events shaped the lives of Adirondack residents. Topics include: the American Revolution, World War II, the 1932 and 1980 Olympic Winter Games, and the creation of the Adirondack Park and the New York State Adirondack Park Agency.

Workshop: Artifact Night
Residents are invited to bring artifacts from home and tell stories about these objects during a show-and-tell session. Beforehand, Andy Flynn will present a Community History Writing Workshop, a primer on researching and writing local history, and share stories from his “Adirondack Attic” book series, which showcases the archives and collections of the Adirondack Museum in Blue Mountain Lake, N.Y.

Performance: Adirondack Attic Musical History Tour (with folksinger Dan Berggren)
Adirondack singer/songwriter Dan Berggren joins author Andy Flynn for this exciting one-of-a-kind program. Andy reads about artifacts from the "Adirondack Attic" book series, and Dan sings songs about Adirondack history. This highly entertaining show is sure to please all crowds, young and old.
